Raise Your Vibration

You've probably heard the phrase, “raise your vibration (positive energy)” or perhaps even “I’m getting good vibes.”

The Science of Vibration

Everything around you is made up of vibrating particles and energy.
The speed of those vibrations makes things appear solid, liquid or gas.
This concept is hard to understand because you aren’t falling through the floor right now.
You are clearly holding a phone or looking at a computer screen and you can’t just run your hand through it like air.
Down on the quantum level, however, when you attempt to run your hand through your computer screen or phone, super tiny particles are bouncing off of each other.

The particles vibrating against each other cause resistance, making it impossible to pass through each other.
Understanding vibration can awaken a lot of things within you.
You will become more aware of your potential and it will be easier to see how we are all connected and why compassion and kindness is so important.
Drama and minor hiccups will start to seem small when you understand how vast and connected our universe is.


Think about a really strong magnet.

When you try to push two magnets together, it’s impossible.
There appears to be an invisible force field that stops them from being able to touch, no matter how hard you try.
That invisible force field is actually made of tiny particles, opposing each other, refusing to collide.

Good Vibes and Bad Vibes

These vibrations are totally invisible to us because they’re too small to see.
When we look at a solid object, we are seeing the result of many particles vibrating together.
Think about vibration for a minute…….
What type of feelings come up when you think about something vibrating very slowly?
What about quickly?
You probably feel a lot of energy and excitement with high vibration and you feel sluggish and sad with low vibration.
When we talk about “raising your vibration” we’re talking about literally vibrating at a higher speed.
Love, hope, compassion and kindness are all emotions that vibrate at a very high speed.
Greed, fear, hate and sadness vibrate at lower speeds.

You’ll notice that the lower vibrations create large, somewhat boring shapes. Some people find these shapes unpleasant.
As the vibrations raise, the shapes become more intricate, detailed and beautiful. Higher vibrations and frequency produce more enjoyable “feel good” effects.
Dr. Masaru Emoto conducted an experiment to see the effects of the vibrations of our words.
Without feeling or emotion and just simply saying a word to water, he was able to observe that positive words created crystals of a higher vibration, similar to the high vibrations of the sand in the cymatics experiments.
Negative words created crystals that looked like a result of being subjected to lower vibrations of energy.

Raise your vibration

As you can see, positivity, love, compassion and hope are of higher vibrations than negativity, fear and hate. Looking at the cymatics experiments and the Dr. Emoto’s water crystals, it’s easy to understand why you'd want to raise your vibration.
All vibrations operate at high and low frequencies, within us and around us.
 If your vibration is low it will be evident; it's simply a matter of bringing awareness to your situation and then working on rectifying it.
Perhaps money no longer flows, your health is poor or you feel surrounded by negative people.
When your vibration is high however, this is that beautiful sense of living in the flow. Here you may be inviting inspiring people into life, jumping out of bed each day full of optimism, things may be progressing particularly well in business and perhaps your bank balance has never looked so good! 
To others it may appear that you have all the luck in the world, when in actual fact you've invited it all in on your own.
So how do we raise our vibration? Here is some simplest ways to raise your vibrations.
Let us first start with taking responsibility of self.
Remember, you create your own reality based on your frequency.
You can’t truly change your external reality by re-arranging the external. True change comes by altering your frequency and the external reality alters to match your new vibrational state.
The only person you can change is only you. You can’t change anyone else.

10 ways to raise your vibration
1. Become conscious of your thoughts.
Everything you think, say or feel becomes your reality. Every single thought that comes into your head has an impact on you.
Easier said than done in the face of adversity though right? How about this, the next time a negative thought shows up in your head, take the time to acknowledge it, thank it for showing up, and then dismiss it and turn it around for the positive.


2. Find something beautiful and appreciate it.
Beauty is all around us, yet so often we walk around with our blinkers on. Stop rushing for a moment and take the time to stand in the sun and appreciate your surroundings Look around and notice something beautiful.
 

3. Be conscious of the foods you eat.
Some foods vibrate at high frequencies, and some lower (broccoli has a high vibration as do blueberries; Big Macs don't vibrate at all ;-). If you are consuming foods covered in chemicals and pesticides, or foods found within plastic packaging, it will leave you vibrating lower. Conversely, consume good quality organic produce, food as nature intended it, and feel the high vibrations disseminate throughout your body. Most importantly, pay attention to how eating certain foods make your body feel. Eat more raw stuff: The more organic and unprocessed, the higher the vibe.
4. Drink water.
Always ensure you drink plenty of water (filtered is best) to assist your body to flush out toxicity day to day. Toxicity has a marked impact on our vibration so we must do what we can to reduce it's impact within us and around us.
5. Meditate.
Sit in a comfortable position, close your eyes and breath in and out. Too often we rush through our days with a scattered brain leaving us in a state of anxiety and stress. Meditation helps to calm your spirit down and put you in a peaceful state of mind. Just 10 minutes of meditation a day can change your life forever.
6. Be grateful.
Making a gratitude list shifts your vibrations from focusing on what you don't have to what is already abundant in your life. There is more to be grateful for than you could possibly imagine. For example, every night when I go to bed I write down (in a little gratitude journal) 5 things I am grateful for that day. It's such a beautiful exercise. State out loud one thing that you are grateful for in that moment.


7. Practice acts of kindness.
Giving to someone else (without expecting anything in return) shifts your thinking from “I don’t have enough" or "Woe is me", to "I have more than enough to give to others.” Abundance is a high vibration. In the same vein, being kind (as opposed to being mean) puts you at a high vibration. Gossip or treat others badly and your vibration will suffer.











8. Get your blood pumping. 
Vibration requires movement, the more you move the better your vibrations move. So Get Active! Dance!  and have a dance party. The happier you feel, the more you will draw happy experiences to yourself because you are operating at a different frequency. Read a high vibe book.

9. Create Something New - Get out of your left brain & get into your right brain by creating something that didn't exist a moment before.

10. Breathe deeply: the more oxygen your cells get, the more alive you will feel.
